SAVE THE DATE: #ClimateWeekNYC is a few days away and we will be there! From September 21-27, you'll catch Maria Ricart and Francis Gassert in the big apple.
Organized by Climate Group, this year's theme will revolve around how to build a low-carbon economy and a secure future together. We're really excited to connect with friends and partners at WWF, Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy and Earth Genome.
Events we will attend:
- On September 23rd, Francis will be the SkyTruth-organized event: "Turning Geospatial Data into Action on Pollution and Climate" from 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT at 307 W 38th Street.
- On September 24th, at 11:25 AM EDT, Francis will be presenting his lessons from building a global 100 m biodiversity dataset on Earth Engine, then Planetary Computer, then open-source tooling on AWS at the CNG event in the Frederick P. Rose Auditorium, at Cooper Union, 41 Cooper Square.
- After that, Maria and Francis will be at "Nature in Practice", which Vizzuality co-created alongside great partners and organized with the Nature Tech Collective. You'll find them at monday.com HQ from 3:00 to 8:00 PM EDT.
